Chapter 191 Giving Thanks

The young woman’s eyes were still shining as she watched on while Yun Tian laughed seemingly without a care in the world before she vexedly thought, ‘Ugh, why am I getting so flustered with him!?’

The Elders around wondered what was up with their young miss and her sudden airheadedness along with burning red cheeks completely unlike any of her past behavior, but as they looked at Yun Tian now and thought of what he showed before, they realized what might be going through her mind and instantly displayed knowing smiles.

They had absolutely zero thoughts of saying anything to dissuade her as they unanimously thought it would be great for their young miss to get together with a caring man that was not only young and talented, but also extremely strong right now. They didn’t have to wait for him to grow strong despite his young age, he was already extremely strong now. 

All of them were happy thinking how great it would be should they get together along the lines of, ‘He evidently shows great care for those he’s close with. Besides that, he is still so young now, but is already so strong. He also has a good character and possibly good connections as well with how quickly he got those pills. He is definitely worthy enough for young miss.’

But, one of them suddenly thought, ‘Wait, is our young miss worthy of him? Miss, you can’t miss this chance!’ and his casual encouraging grin gained a new urgency as he tried to signal her his thoughts.

The young miss noticed the encouraging smiles and few thumbs up she got thinking, ‘What!? They’re trying to encourage me to go after him?! Hmph, Perverts!’

She flushed red even more but didn’t address it and instead tried to change the subject away from her embarrassing performance by saying: “Anyway, since you already introduced yourself before, I will introduce myself as well. My name is Yao Fei,” while also cupping her fist as a sign of greeting.

The amusement on Yun Tian’s face was suddenly wiped away and instead was replaced with a guilt ridden expression as he cupped his fist too and replied, “Ah what a nice name. I’m sorry I didn’t get a chance to ask before as I was in a great rush. Oh and once again thank you, Yao Fei. Here is a new High Spirit Grade rejuvenation pill to replace the one you had before.”

His young and handsome face along with his noble actions so far made them want to comfort him and say it's not his fault, but they didn’t get to say anything before he suddenly said he would give them a new pill and then immediately threw over a high grade rejuvenation pill right after he finished speaking.

Yao Fei caught the pill as she and the Elder’s around her had their previous thoughts of consoling instead replaced with surprise and a little confusion.

They truly didn’t know what to say anymore. He gave them a new pill after he had already bought their other one at an insane price and he didn’t even seem to have any intentions of asking for his cores back. 

One of the Elder’s thought, ‘If it was something I needed from someone weaker I would have just taken it without giving them anything, but this guy not only rewarded us but even gave us back the pill he wanted before. It seems this trip with the young miss is truly blessed with fortune.’

Yao Fei caught the pill, but the happiness within the Elder’s eyes next to her wasn’t within hers. Instead, her eyes were filled with worry as she thought a little more into it, ‘If he gives us this back, then it's as if we didn’t give him anything at all. Instead it's as if he just gave us the cores. He has greatly overpaid us even if he didn’t give us the pill back.’

She continued on thinking about how much the pill might have meant to him, ‘Even if it's him paying us for having the pill when he didn’t have one and saving his wolf, that was all purely by chance and not because we cared and brought it to him or anything. At this rate he will probably just leave and forget about us thinking he rewarded us enough. I can’t let things continue this way.’

Thinking this, she put away the pill with a calm expression before saying: “Since that is the case, you can have these cores back.”

As she said that, she took out the cores Yun Tian gave them last time and tried to walk over and hand them over to him. The Elders next to her felt bitter seeing this but didn’t say anything against her, especially in front of the powerful Yun Tian. If Yun Tian truly wanted them back, what they said wouldn’t matter with the strength he showed.

However Yun Tian only put his hand up signaling her to stop and said, “I didn’t ask for those back, did I? I already gave those to you before. You deserve them.”

He continued on with a noble expression: “In fact, besides that is there anything you would like my help with. I would like to repay you a little more. After all, not only did you help me, but I also gave you guys a good scare. Especially that little guy in the carriage.”

Yun Tian didn’t know whether she genuinely wanted to return the pills or not but either way the offer alone made him happy. Everything he said was true too. He really did want to further repay them if he could.

After all he cared greatly about Bolin, especially with how the wolf only got so injured because of him. He would have blamed himself forever if the wolf died because of him. Even if it was just random chance that they were there and had the pill it didn’t matter to him. In the end though, he just couldn’t bear any more feelings of grief and loss.
